As part of Lent in 2009, I spent time praying through the prayer attributed to St. Francis of Assisi (1181/2–1126) known as the Peace Prayer. I’ve found out it was likely written in 1925 by a Catholic congress, but is written in the spirit of St. Francis. I’ve also uncovered a couple of other prayers that he actually wrote. I’ve been playing with art and these prayers, so thought I would post these photographic art images I’ve created. These photos were all taken on the Minister’s Retreat near Laurel Ridge in a little town called Glendale Springs. There is a beautiful little white church there that has these statues of St. Francis out in their church yard. Enjoy!
