In an attempt to catch up from the end of 2010, I offer these images from Christmas Eve at Raleigh Moravian Church. Some are of our youth in the “Living Nativity” they did for the 2nd year. I just love the outfits! Others are of the luminaries the kid made during our “Christmas Around the World” as we talked about light and views of the crowd waiting to get into the Sanctuary before the 5pm service. The others are of my Lovefeast buns thanks to the Lovefeast Dieners. The 2:30 Lovefeast Bun contained a fireball in the middle with gummy worms and Swedish fish coming out of the top. The 5:00 Lovefeast Bun included a ham and cheese sandwich to go with the fireball and gummy bun. The 7:30 Lovefeast Bun was the masterpiece that came split in two, iced, and decorated with sugar letters that spelled “Merry Christmas.” To top off the plate, it was garnished with an origami Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus in the manger. Thanks for the “thoughtful” Buns, y’all! 😉
